A special 14-week course on the 300-year history of the Jews in America will be offered during the fall-winter semester at the Jewish Theological Seminary here, it was announced today. The lecture-discussion course, which begins October 6, is being presented in anticipation of the nationwide observance in 1954 of the arrival of the first Jews in New Amsterdam in 1654. Outstanding authorities on various aspects of American Jewish communal life and Jewish achievement will lead the sessions.
