Senate Bears Attack on British Delay in Admitting 100,000 Jews to Palestine

Senator James M. Mead of New York and Oven Brewater of Maine assailed delay in the admission of 100,000 Jewish refugees to Palestine, in statements on the Senate floor today. Mead said that Prime Minister Attlee has “conditioned with almost insurmountable obstacles” the report of the Anglo-American Committee.
