The Senate Investigating Sub-Committee will begin executive hearings tomorrow in the case of Ilse Koch, notorious German war criminal charged with having made lampshades of the skin of murdered concentration camp inmates at Buchenwald. The reduction of Frau Koch’s life sentence by the U.S. Army last June set off a wave of protest and indignation throughout this country.
