The Senate Foreign Relations Committee announced today that former Ambassador James C. Dunn, a well known career diplomat, will make a survey of the U. S. Foreign Aid program in the Near East to study its effectiveness and future.
Mr. Dunn was U. S. political adviser to the supreme military command of the Mediterranean area. He served as Ambassador to France, Italy, Spain, Brazil, and in other posts.
