Sentencing is slated for January for a former bookkeeper at a Philadelphia temple convicted of embezzling more than $1 million. Betty Shusterman, 74, faces four to five years in jail after being convicted recently on 46 counts of conspiracy, bank fraud, mail fraud and tax evasion.
