The Government today opened negotiations with political parties about the restoration of the separate electoral college for Jews. The party of former Premier Venizeles is favoring the idea, while the adherents of former Premier Tsaldaris will oppose it.
The electoral college, under which Jews were obliged to cast their votes separately, was abolished last year.
