(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)
The Agudath Israel and the Kenesseth Israel Central Committee have declared their intention not to be incorporated in the Jewish Community Regulations, published by the Government about two months ago.
Although these two factions have not been in friendly relations with each other, they have now joined together and formed a United Orthodox Congregation, which will be opposed to the suzerainty of the Vaad Leumi. Some of the leading members of the Kennesseth Israel Central Committee belong to the Ashkenasic section of the Chief Rabbinate.
