Services in memory of the martyred Jews of the Oswiecim death camp were held today by Jewish committee throughout Czechoslovakia. In Prague’s Great Synagogue services were attended by representatives of the Government, churches and trade unions.
The Dean’s Consistory of Prague today called upon the population, particularly Catholic priests, to remember the fate of the Jewish victims of fascism.
