Seventeen new immigrants came to Israel on Wednesday night from Iraq. The group, composed of two families including several children, is the second group of Iraqi immigrants to arrive in Israel since the war. Absorption Minister Tzipi Livni met the immigrants at Ben-Gurion International Airport. “It was a very emotional experience,” Livni said. After the war, Jewish officials visiting Iraq said there were 34 Jews known to be left in Baghdad.
