Seventh Jewish Day School Opens in Melbourne; Has 140 Pupils

The seventh Jewish day school in Melbourne has been officially opened with 140 pupils, most of them children of immigrants from Rumania and Hungary. About 500 persons, including leading members of the Jewish community, attended the dedication. Speakers called the new school a “bastion of the Jewish community.”
