Seventy percent of Israelis polled support the use of nuclear weapons in response to a non-conventional weapons attack on Israel, according to a survey published by the Jaffe Center for Strategic Studies at Tel Aviv University. The study also found that 92 percent of the respondents backed Israel’s development of nuclear weapons, compared to 78 percent who supported it in a study that was performed 10 years ago.
