Several thousand persons participated Sunday in a ceremony to the memory of former Jewish fighters. The ceremony at the Bagneux cemetery, was organized by the Federation of Jewish Companies and the Union of French Jewish Companies. Participants carried streamers with inscriptions “We will never forget Nazi crimes,” “Honor to the Israeli victims of Munich,” and “Abolition of measures against Soviet Jewish intellectuals.” Another ceremony took place Sunday to the memory of “millions of Jewish victims of Nazi barbarism who died without a tombstone.” The ceremony was at the Memorial to the Unknown Jewish Martyr. Chief Rabbi Henri Schilli officiated.
