Several windows were shattered in a synagogue in the Ukrainian city of Odessa. No one was injured in the incident, which took place the night of March 23-24 in the Osipova Street Synagogue. Rabbi Avraham Wolf, the chief rabbi of Odessa and South Ukraine, told JTA that the incident may be a reaction to Israel’s recent killing of Hamas leader Sheik Ahmed Yassin in Gaza.
