A second Oak Leaf Cluster to the Silver Star has been awarded posthumously to Sgt. Meyer Levin, the Jewish bombardier who lost his life last Jan. 6 saving a Flying Fortress crew, according to word received here yesterday.
His parents, Mr. & Mrs. Samuel Levin, Brooklyn, were notified two weeks ago by the War Department that their son would receive his fifth citation. At the time of his death Sergeant Levin held the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Silver Star with Oak Leaf Cluster. Subsequently, he posthumously received the Purple Heart.
