Shanghai Jewry have joined the ranks of world Jewry in protesting against the British White Paper on Palestine. At a big mass meeting held here under the auspices of the Shanghai Zionist Association, a resolution expressing sorrow and concern at the attitude of the Labor Government of Great Britain toward the Jewish National Home was unanimously adopted. Another resolution expressing confidence that the Balfour Declaration would continue to be the charter of the upbuilding of the Jewish National Home was also adopted.

N. E. B. Ezra, editor of Israel’s Messenger, was the main speaker at the meeting which was presided over by Mrs. R. E. Toeg. At the conclusion of the meeting it was announced that S. M.
