Moshe Sharett, former Prime Minister of Israel, said here last night that there was a need for an interchange of observers from Israel to attend Jewish conventions in countries outside of Israel and vice versa. He addressed the eighth national convention of the Canadian Labor Zionist movement.
The convention elected Dr. S. B. Hurwich as the new president of the Canadian Labor Zionists. Former president I. M. Bobrove was named honorary national president. Leon Kronitz was elected chairman of the national executive, Harry Steiner, secretary, and Esther Rozalinsky was named treasurer.
