Former Israel Prime Minister Moshe Sharett will leave here for New York tomorrow, following a successful ten-day visit to Mexico during which he launched the 1960 Keren Hayesod campaign and met with Mexican Government officials. He was honored at receptions and dinners and visited Jewish communal institutions.
The Keren Hayesod drive, stimulated by Mr. Sharett’s appearance, is meeting with enthusiastic support from all sectors of the Jewish community. Mr, Sharett was received by Mexican Foreign Minister Manuel Tello and by the Permanent Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, A reception in his honor, attended by members of the diplomatic corps, was given here by the Israel Embassy.
