Commerce and Industry Minister Ariel Sharon met Wednesday with the head of the Polish interest mission in Israel, and discussed ways to strengthen commercial ties between the two countries.
Poland suggested exporting cars to Israel, but Sharon insisted on reciprocity. He said such a deal was subject to approval by the Transport Ministry and a Polish commitment to allow a similar volume of exports from Israel into Poland.
The two men also discussed exchanges of agricultural and industrial products.
