A testimonial dinner was given last night to Ben Sherman, secretary of the Infants Home of Brooklyn, at the Menorah Masonic Temple, Fourteenth Avenue and Fiftieth Street. Supreme Court Justice Mitchell May was the chief speaker.
Sherman was general chairman of the drive held by the Home recently, which succeeded in raising more than $10,000. According to the president of the Home, George A. Goldenson, who presided at the dinner, this money enabled the institution to clear itself of debt.
