Shimon Caspi, honorary treasurer of the Maccabiah Games and the World Maccabi Union died here Monday at 57, two days after his resignation from the Maccabiah Committee. Mr. Caspi resigned over what he called the mishandling of the Eighth Maccabiah games last week in which the Uruguayan basketball team was barred from competition because it fielded two non-Jewish players.
