The water supply in Jerusalem has been cut down by half, according to a report issued to-day by the Jerusalem Water Department. The report states that Jerusalem is suffering a serious lack of water and that the position may grow worse next month.
The report explains that the shortage of water is due to the low rainfall, which has made it necessary to cut down the supply to Jerusalem to 400,000 gallons a day. The normal consumption of water in the city if 800,000 gallons daily.
