‘CRAZY AMERICAN’ DUE
The Theatre Union has added “Crazy American” by Charles Rumford Walker, to its list of plays for next season. It is said to be about the steel industry.
Mr. Walker knows something about this subject at first hand— he was a steel worker in New England mills for some years after his graduation at Yale. He has written two books about steel mills. “Steel, the Diary of a Furnace Worker,” and “Bread and Fire,” a novel. He is also the author of a book of short stories, “Our Gods Are Not Born,” and is the treasurer of the Theatre Union.
