Polish Jewish circles here today are both surprised and disconcerted at the fact that the official Polish transcript of Premier Sikorski’s address to the opening session of the National Council on Tuesday, omits the passage promising that the loyalty shown to Poland by national and religious minorities will not be forgotten when a post-war free Polish state is created.
This passage, which was contained only in the official government hand-out in English, was also omitted from the Dziennik Polski, official organ of the Polish government, as well as from the official Polish broadcast of the address.
