The Associated Silk Workers’ organization is completing plans to prepare local silk workers for the strike expected to be called throughout the textile industry by the United Textile Workers. 10,000 will be effected locally, a majority of them Jewish.
A special meeting will be held tomorrow night, while a meeting of the city’s dye workers is planned for Saturday.
