Dr. Abba Hillel Silver was guest of honor today at a luncheon-reception given at the Hotel Astor by some 100 leaders of the amusement industry. It was his first New York address as chairman of the United Palestine Appeal, which is seeking $4,500,000 in its 1938 campaign.
