Simon Buchbinder, an internationally prominent artist, died in The Hague today at 69. Mr. Buchbinder was born in Cracow, Poland, and lived in Antwerp, Belgium, during World War I. He won the Antwerp Municipality’s Grand Prix at the age of 15. He later moved to Holland. His paintings were exhibited in New York, Paris, Brussels and Tel Aviv. His last painting was inspired by Israel’s Six-Day War.
