Jews and non-Jews alike have been stirred to resentment by a revelation today that the local Nazis succeeded in renting a hall from the Eagles club for their first public meeting by misrepresenting their purposes.
Instead of admitting their identity the “Friends of the New Germany” posed as a German singing society when applying for the hall, and this duplicity even won them free rental.
