Sir Isaac Isaacs, Governor General of Australia, who is eighty years old, is seriously ill, it was announced here yesterday.
Sir Isaac, son of a Jewish tailor, and a native born Australian, was appointed by King George in December, 1930, Governor General of Australia after occupying the position of Chief Justice of Australia for many years.
