Dr. Abraham Granott, world head of the Jewish National Fund, last night handed Sir Simon Marks, veteran Zionist leader, the deed to Cheval Shimon, a 5,000-acre tract of land purchased by British Jews for the J.N.F. as a tribute to Sir Simon’s work in behalf of Zionism and the State of Israel. The presentation of the deed for the tract, which is located in the Judean Hills, was made at a dinner at the conclusion of the national convention of the British J.N.F.
