Six American teenagers, among the winners in the Eleventh National Bible Contest, held in New York last May under the auspices of the American Section of the Department of Education and Culture of the Jewish Agency for Israel, will compete April 29 at the Twelfth Annual International Bible Contest for Jewish Youth, held in Jerusalem on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary celebration of the founding of the Jewish State. The six American competitors are: Ethan Arbisser, Houston, Texas; Ariel Goodman, Minneapolis. Minn; Raphael Lerner, Chicago, Ill.; William Miles, West Hempstead, N.Y.; Frank Melton, Kansas City, Mo. and Jeff Ross, Shawnee Mission, Kansas. At last year’s International Bible Contest, two American girls, Debbie Lander, of New York and Flora Musleah of Philadelphia, Pa., took third and fourth places.
