Six-day Conference Opens in Israel; Will Discuss Fate of World Zionist Organization

The fate of the World Zionist Organization will one of the major questions under discussion at a nationwide conference of the M##, Israel’s Labor Party, which opened today with Labor members of the Cabinet and the Jewsh Agency in attendance.

The conference, which will last until Monday, will make recommendations on other the World Zionist Organization should remain in its present form or be limited fund-raising activities abroad, leaving the work of absorbing immigrants to the Israel Government.

Problems concerning relations with the left-wing Socialist Mapam Party, as all as broadening the coalition Cabinet will also be discussed at the conference. ##ior to the voting on resolutions, the delegates will hear reports by members of the Cabinet and of the Jewish Agency on the issues.

The 17th national conference of the Revisionist workers labor federation–His##drut Ovdim Leumit–opened here last night. The delegates heard reports of the ##wth and development of the right-wing labor faction.
