Six Hungarian Soldiers Receive Death Sentence for Murder of Jews in 1944

Six Hungarian soldiers charged with murdering more than 100 Jewish slave laborers in 1944 were sentenced to death today, while four others received prison terms ranging from 15 years to life. A defense plea for clemency was registered and will be acted upon shortly.
