Slovak Government Hands Jewish School over to German College

The Slovak Government has ordered the Jewish public school in Bratislava closed, it was reported today in the Neues Wiener Tageblatt. After alterations on the school building are completed the premises will be used for a German teachers academy and a school for German commercial apprentices, the Nazi paper discloses. In the Czech Protectorate an extreme shortage of consumer goods was revealed by an order that ration cards for tobacco be given only to aryan men – aryan women and Jews are not to receive any.
