The Slovak Liberation station today broadcast a report that Slovak quislings murdered at least 4,000 Jewish men, women and children from Bratislava and surrounding villages at the Petrzalkia labor camp near the Slovak capital. The massacres occurred just before the camp was liberated by the Red Army.
Official Czechoslovak circles here today denied a report carried in several Jewish newspapers which quoted Czech Premier Zdenek Fierlinger as stating that “many Jews in Gzechoslovakia cooperated with the Nazis.” They said that Fierlinger described the report as “a gross provocation.”
