Ivor Pitch, 54, was today elected Mayor of this city. He is the fourth Jew ever to have been elected to that post. The other three were Harry Pitchanik, Mayor Pitch’s brother, who served in 1955-56; Jay van Praagh, 1900-01; and H. L. Lezard, 1914-15.
