The Bureau of the Socialist International decided unanimously today to hold the next meeting of the organization’s Council in Haifa on April 27.
The Bureau issued a statement here expressing “abhorrence” at the January wave of anti-Semitic incidents in scores of countries. “Whatever their origin, whether they are the result of a concerted campaign or perpetrated by hooligans, the utmost vigilance should be maintained to prevent or to punish any recurrence of such evil practices,” the statement said.
