Miss Rose Eisen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Eisen, of 1754 Union street, Brooklyn, was married on Sunday night at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel to Martin Simon, son of Mrs. Lina Simon, of 751 Walton avenue, Brooklyn.
Rabbi Nathan M. Rosen of Temple Petach Tikvah, assisted by Cantor Abraham Jassen, officiated. The father of the bride is a prominent member of the Brooklyn Jewish community.
Miss Celia Boyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Boyer of Jamaica, was married to Dr. Harry Greenberg, 229 North Wellwood avenue, Lindenhurst, at the residence of Dr. Simon R. Cohen. Tower Hotel, Brooklyn. Dr. Cohen, who performed the ceremony, also officiated at the marriage of the bride’s parents. A reception followed in the Garden Room of the St. George Hotel, Brooklyn.
The bride is a graduate of New York University. Dr. Greenberg is a graduate of City College and the Flower Hospital Medical School. He is a member of the Phi Lambda Kappa Fraternity.
After a wedding trip to Bermuda, Dr. and Mrs. Greenberg will reside in Lindenhurst.
The marriage of Miss Esther Fishelman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Fishelman of 639 Ovington avenue, to Salo Minkin, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Minkin of 1050 Ocean avenue, took place Friday, December 21, at the Free Synagogue. Rabbi Stephen S. Wise officiated at the ceremony which was followed by a wedding dinner at the Hotel St. George.
