The Boy King, Mihai, yesterday received Nahum Sokolow, the veteran Zionist leader, now on a visit here. Sokolow presented his Majesty with a book of pictures about Palestine.
The Regent Council of Roumania also received Sokolow in a half hour audience during which there was a discussion of Zionism and Palestine. The Keren Hayesod drive in Bucharest started with a mass meeting participated in by thousands. Speeches were delivered by the Foreign Minister Mironescu, Mayor Dobrescu and Messrs. Bernhardt, Nimerower, Berkowitsch, Filderman and Sokolow.
