Soldiers in Germany Join Dp’s in Seder Services; Jews Get Special Passover Rations

More than 1,000 American Jewish military personal, staffs of the International Refugee Organization, the Joint Distribution Committee and displaced persons participated in an impressive Seder service on Passover eve hold in the Trocadero building here. The military post chaplain, Rabbi Herman Dicker, officiated.

Some 400,000 pounds of matzohs and matzoh flour were distributed to Jews living in DP camps and towns in Germany, the local office of the Joint Distribution Committee reported. The organization also distributed some 60,000 quarts of Israel line, kosher fat and other products. The special Passover ration was given to all Jews in the country.
