CLARIFICATION

A story in the Aug. 13 Daily News Bulletin said the Knesset adopted the bill proclaiming united Jerusalem as Israel’s capital on July 23. Actually, the Knesset enacted that bill into law on July 30, a day after the UN General Assembly approved a resolution demanding that Israel withdraw from all the occupied territories including Jerusalem. On July 23, the Knesset passed the bill on first reading.
