Some 100 Christians and several Jewish leaders attended a joint Passover seder in Rio de Janeiro. The April 1 seder was held in Rio’s largest synagogue and led by Brazil’s only woman rabbi. Rabbi Sandra Kochmann, the assistant spiritual leader of the 1,000-family Reform temple ARI, discussed the meaning of Passover and each of the seder foods and prayers.
