Some 20 people were injured in Nazareth on Sunday during confrontations between Christians and Muslims that coincided with the Easter holiday. The dispute centered on a site near the Basilica of the Annunciation, the holiest Christian site in Israel’s largest Arab town, where Muslims want to build a mosque. The mayor of Nazareth said the site belongs to the Israeli government, which he said must resolve the ongoing dispute.
