Some 600 Lubavitch women and thousands of children met hundreds of other women in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, N.Y., for a convention of female emissaries from around the world. The event was to commemorate the 10th yahrzeit of Rebbetzin Chaya Moussia Schneerson, the wife of the late Lubavitcher rebbe.
