Some students walked out as a university in Toronto honored an anti-Israel law professor. Richard Falk, an international law professor at Princeton, was given an honorary doctorate Friday at Toronto’s York University. Falk has compared Israel to a Nazi state, blasted Jews’ alleged control of the media and implicitly offered justification for Palestinian terrorist attacks against Israeli citizens, according to officials from B’nai Brith Canada, which had asked the university not to honor the controversial professor.
