Michael Weizmann, youngest son of Dr. Chaim Weizmann, was reported today to be “missing” after a battle between his R.A.F. squadron and Nazi air or naval forces.
For the time being it cannot be established whether young Weizmann was killed in action or was taken prisoner. It is assumed that he participated in the Dover battle yesterday during which German battleships made their daring escape through the English Channel under the fire of British planes, ships and shore batteries.
