Dr. Jacob Sonderling, chaplain in the German Army during the World War, will be the principal speaker Sunday night at the tenth anniversary dinner and dance of the Temple Emanuel to be held in the Ritz ballroom. Dr. Sonderling was decorated with the Iron Cross by President von Hindenburg, the only Jewish chaplain to receive that honor.
A book commemorating the anniversary of the Temple with a history of all its activities will be issued at the dinner. The editor is David B. Kaplan.
