Rudolph G. Sonneborn, industrialist and communal leader, has assumed a major role in the New York Israel bond drive, it was announced here today. Mr. Sonneborn will join Benjamin Abrams and William Mazer as honorary chairman in New York.
A leader in the United Jewish Appeal, Mr. Sonneborn also served as president of the American Financial and Development Corporation for Israel which launched the sale of Israel bonds in this country.
