A South African Jew, Leo Lovell, has been appointed Minister of Finance in the Swaziland Cabinet, He was a Labor member of the South African Parliament from 1949 to 1958, representing Benoni, where he lived and had a leading part in Jewish communal affairs. He settled in Swaziland in 1961.
