Abel Shaban, chairman of the South African ORT Union, left today for South America to negotiate with the United Campaign in South America for increased contributions to ORT activities.
Mr. Shaban will also attempt to heighten the interest of South American Jew in ORT work. The South African leader, who is visiting South America for the first time, recently equipped a complete ORT laboratory for television studies in Geneva, in honor of his sons Jeremy and Martin.
