Concern over the increasing wave of tension in the Middle East was expressed yesterday in a cable sent by the Zionist Federation of South Africa to President Eisenhower and Prime Minister Eden at their current meeting in Washington, the federation announced here. The message declared.
“The South African Jewish community, deeply perturbed at the rising tension in the Middle East, expresses the hope that your deliberations will help constructively to achieve peace between Israel and her Arab neighbors without sacrificing Israel’s security and territorial integrity.”
